She works with a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, grief, loss and bereavement, ACEs (Adverse Childhood Experiences), emotional stress, and chronic illness.

Her practice is grounded in the Person-Centred Approach, creating a safe, empathetic, and non-judgemental space where clients feel truly heard. She also integrates Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), an evidence-based and compassionate approach that helps individuals recognise and reshape the emotional patterns that influence their relationships with themselves and others. In addition, she draws on elements of Gestalt Therapy, offering a holistic and flexible approach tailored to each client’s needs.

Mahek has supported clients from diverse cultural backgrounds, including those navigating childhood wounds, bereavement, cross-cultural adjustment, and significant life changes. Alongside her work with others, she remains fully committed to her own professional growth and personal development, ensuring her practice continues to evolve with the needs of her clients.
